I received an interesting call from my bank. “Had you just purchased a $465 purse?” “Ha Ha” I laughed out loud, “My Ex-Wives never received $500 purses, How’d you catch it? “ I asked. I won’t fill you in on the details but AmSouth Security is tops in my book. Before they could get a hold of me, my account was being watched.

Nothing got through and the Internet Scum is almost caught. Internet Crimes were once easy I’ve heard…. Now, well to the Internet Scum, security’s never going to change (Ha-Ha) and just like your other family members you’ll be in jail soon. I read about the Internet Scum getting caught all the time, now I get to personally witness this in action.

Internet Scum: Check the windows & doors, see anything? Maybe? I know 2 people under surveillance as we speak, they’ll be in prison soon.

We're growing

The Abacus web-design division is coming along swimmingly. We just brought on two new clients, Hometown Messenger and Artbuilt Awnings. So, look for upcoming improvements to those sites. uncle-teds-spices.com has a new look. I've created a banner and logo to give the site an identifying mark. The site still needs some work to enhance the user experience. Customers appreciate easy to navigate web sites when they are shopping. This is one of the keys to excellent web-design. I will constantly stress the importance of good design when I write these blogs. Apart from focusing on meta-tags and keywords, a sound fundamantal understanding of design principles will help to create a deadly combination that will help skyrocket website rankings. It can mean the difference between excellent local rankings and superb national rankings.

A new webmaster is in town

Allow me to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is David Donald and I'll will be the new webmaster responsible for maintaining, redesigning, and developing websites for Abacus Computers. With a Mass communications degree from the University of South Florida, I come to the position with a sound understanding of web design and how information is communicated and accessed. A site can be very informative, but without a great design the information can be hard to access. Websurfers need guidance when searching through products and information online. There is nothing more annoying than not finding information due to an incompetent webdesign. This ultimately leads to the frustration of the websurfer, finding the site too mundane and difficult to navigate. If the site cannot be navigated, then the purpose of the site, which is to market a business, is defeated. My goal is to successfully market businesses through webdesign.
Over the next couple of weeks, I will be updating several company sites, as well as begin a new Abacus site (abacus-computer-repair-manatee-florida.com). I will also be working on the expansion of the web division by obtaining new web clients.
